Okay, so here is the plan. My brother and I sat down and worked out a rough plan for the next two books in the "Walking in the Rain Series" that sounds exciting. William has his own plans for book 6, and he has already started working on the overall plot for his baby. The exciting (or terrifying) idea is for us to collaborate on the final book 7 in the series. Yes, the two Allen brothers working together to finish out the series is going to be so much fun. By mid-Summer I'm going to finish my graduate school so I will be free to create and build on the story of David and his family.
But before that, I have "The Sacrifice Tree" almost finished for the young adult crowd, and I'm in the early stages of working with my buddy, James Wallace on a historical horror story. I also need to research fusion reactors, space travel, and faster than light technology for a stand alone story. Oh, and a short story that fictionalizes the battle between a hungry dragon and a squad of engineers during the Gulf War. I promised my fellow members of the unit that they survive the ordeal.
2016 is going to be full of writing and exploring new things.
