Kudos to my school librarian Alicia V! She trained my department how to use a website called Lynda.com where there are online tutorials for a huge assortment of skills. With a simple search, I discovered how to format my manuscripts for direct uploads to Amazon.com without having to pay a middle - man. Yay! The problem? I'm 28,000 words into this story, so I had to go back and fix my issues. I tested it, and it looks fine on Amazon. The upside of this is the ability to go back and fix any boo-boos I missed in the editorial process (not that my fine editor would do that). I also received a template for CreateSpace from a friend, so I can upload my future books with less time lost waiting for another party. I enjoy doing things for myself, but I will still use my favorite editor if she will have me back!
If you read this, and you would like a peek at my next story The Sacrifice Tree, shoot me an email at...wait for it

This is a Young Adult Science Fiction/Fantasy. Don't worry, I didn't torture anyone in this story...yet.
I enjoy hearing from readers, and I'm open to suggestions.
