but I've been busy. I'm still working on my Young Adult Science Fiction/Fantasy story, and I can happily say that I've found an ending I'm happy with. The problem is in getting there! I try to work each day on it after my day job and on the weekends, but I need to ramp up my production if I'm going to meet my self-imposed deadline. I want everything done and the book up on Amazon by the end of February. This time I'm also going to offer it as a print edition. That reminds me to get Firestorm up on CreateSpace soon so I can get some hard copies for friends who wanted autographed copies.
On a different note; I asked my buddies from back in my Army days about doing a short story in honor of our friends we lost during Desert Storm, and everyone I've heard from likes the idea. I don't intend on making any money off of it, but if someone throws some money my way for it, I'll donate to a charitable cause in their name. I think Dodge, Aaron, and Bill would like that. It's been a long time, but their tragic loss still haunts me. I may post some of their pictures in the future.
That's all for now. Look out for my next novel, and "Walking in the Rain" fans will be excited to know that book 6 is going to be all Will Allen's work, but book 7 looks like it will be a collaboration between the Allen brothers! I predict we will end up nuking each other's characters like we used to do with Army men in the sandy driveway back home. Ah, youth!
